Republican Candidate for U.S. Congress, Alabama’s 3rd District

I’m Draic Coakley, and I’m running for the United States Congress in Alabama’s 3rd District because Alabama and America deserve better.

I’ve assembled a hardworking campaign team rooted in the values of self-governance that our Constitution was built on. I’m stepping forward not as a career politician but as a career American, someone who understands what it means to work with their hands, face real-world struggles, and still believe in this country’s promise.

Alabama families are feeling the pain of inflation every day. Our dollars don’t stretch like they used to, and our paychecks aren’t keeping up. Meanwhile, we’ve watched manufacturing plants close and jobs ship off to China and Mexico. That’s unacceptable. I’ll fight to bring those jobs back home and put Alabama workers first.

I also stand firmly with Alabama’s agricultural community. Our state was built by family farmers, men and women who wake up before sunrise to feed America. But right now, corporate agriculture and foreign investment are squeezing out the small family farms that make up the backbone of our rural economy. I’ll work to protect local farmers, preserve farmland, and ensure that Alabama agriculture remains in the hands of Alabamians, not multinational corporations or global interests.

For too long, we’ve been represented by politicians who’ve lost touch with the people they serve. Congressman Mike Rogers has spent years in Washington working for special interests and defense lobbyists, not for the people of this district. That’s taxation without representation, and I’m here to change it.

I’ll hold regular town halls, listen directly to your concerns, and fight for practical solutions that improve lives here at home. That means investing in our crumbling roads and bridges, not sending billions overseas for foreign wars. I oppose policing the world while our own infrastructure falls apart.

Border security is national security. Weak border policies are fueling drug-related deaths across Alabama. I’ll support strong enforcement and policies that keep our families safe.

We need new representatives, not career politicians; young, energetic, common-sense conservatives who are committed to serving the people, not climbing political ladders. I believe in justice, transparency, and rebuilding trust between the government and the people it serves.

This campaign isn’t about politics. It’s about protecting our freedoms, restoring our economy, standing up for our farmers, and giving Alabama a voice that won’t back down.
